The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $620 million

The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps moving up and is going to be up to a projected $620 million for the next drawing on Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $446 million up for grab. The amount was rolled over since no player hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $570 million jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 drawing were 02-07-11-17-32 with Power Ball 11. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 37 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. A single lucky player from won the $31.00 million grand prize in Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing.
Although there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were eight lucky tickets matched all 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 5 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Florida(1), Indiana(1), New York(1) and Wisconsin(1) won $1,000,000 cash. The other 3 second prize winner(s) from Michigan(1), Ohio(1) and Oklahoma(1) also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Also, 77 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 19 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 136,760 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. The lucky New York ticket won the second prize was sold from . 7 tickets sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 489 lucky New York winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 62 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 1,614,353 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 drawing.
Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play option, which increases the original prizes except grand prize. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 32.
