Powerball jackpot leaps to $31 million; 1 second prize ticket sold

Saturday's Powerball lottery grand prize climbed to $31 million, since no player hit all 6 winning numbers drawn Wednesday night. The cash value for Saturday will be $22 million. Wednesday's $20 million is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The numbers from Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 drawing were 01-17-52-58-64 and Powerball was 01. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 40 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. One lucky winner from won the $31.00 million jackpot in Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash.
