Nobody matched all 6 numbers last night. Powerball jackpot rises to $51 million

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune will be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball game has $51 million on the line. The lump-sum cash payout will be $30.5 million up for grab. Powerball's grand prize increased because nobody hit all 6 numbers drawn Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 drawing were 37, 39, 55, 63, 69 with Power Ball number 23.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. A total of 5 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. These included 3 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 163 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 49 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 344 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 124 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 307,377 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. To play, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 then select 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the original winnings except grand prize. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
