Saturday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $99,000,000; One player matched the first 5 numbers

The Powerball lottery grand prize is on the move again. The grand prize for the Saturday, September 20th, 2025 drawing rolls up to $99,000,000 with the cash option at $$46.3 million. The numbers from Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 drawing were 07, 30, 50, 54, 62 and Powerball was 20.
While there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole lucky ticket correctly matched the first five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in CA, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 3 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 6 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 149 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 58 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 405 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 8 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.

Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2.
