Monday's Powerball jackpot moves to $225,000,000; One ticket won the second prize

The multi-state Powerball lottery jackpot has grew to an estimated $225,000,000 dollars after there was no grand prize winner in Saturday's drawing. The cash value will be $$100.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Saturday, June 6th, 2026 drawing were 16, 32, 55, 59, 64 with Power Ball number 03. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past fifteen draws since Monday, May 4th, 2026.
While the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was only one lucky winner matched all 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CA will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Also, 8 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 5 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 251 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 83 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 654 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 216 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 44,362 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was one lucky New Yorker matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 78 lucky New York players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 12 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 562,359 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, June 6th, 2026 drawing.
Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play option, which increases the winnings but not jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
