Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot jumps to 87,000,000; 3 tickets matched the first 5 numbers

There has been another rollover in the jackpot for the multistate Mega Millions game - to 87,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $42.8 million. The jackpot grew because no one hit all 6 numbers from Friday night's 64,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Friday, October 28th, 2022 drawing were 04, 18, 31, 53, 69 with Mega Ball 07 and Megaplier 2.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 3 second prize winning tickets from Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in WV won a quarter million dollar cash each.
