Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $77,000,000; Seven second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game keeps moving up and will be up to a projected $77,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Friday. The cash value will be an estimated $$38.2 million. The amount was rolled over because no one hit all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $62,000,000 grand prize Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 drawing were 01, 06, 10, 23, 27 and the Mega Ball was 18, Megaplier was 5.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were seven lucky winners matched all 5 lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The seven second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in LA,MO,NY,PA,TN,VA(2) won $1,000,000 cash each.
Also, 17 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. In addition, 588 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 703 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
