The Mega Millions lottery grand prize increased since nobody hit all six winning numbers from Friday night's $177,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot rised to $193,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash option stands at a projected $$82.8 million. The winning numbers from Friday night, September 4th, 2026 were 06, 26, 34, 59, 61 with Mega Ball number 24 and Megaplier x. No one won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 151 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. 6 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 6 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 118 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 312 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were 446,602 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, September 4th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The chances of winning Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
