No jackpot ticket sold last night. Mega Millions jackpot rises to $474,000,000 Friday, September 26th, 2025

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery jackpot leaped to $474,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$219.4 million) Friday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $451,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, September 23rd, 2025 were 13, 24, 41, 42, 70 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier . No one won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 52 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Although there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. 4 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 4 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other winners Tuesday evening included 169 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 505 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 prize tiers, there were 637,958 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. The chances of winning is about 1 to 14. The chances of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
