Mega Millions jackpot rises to $62,000,000 Tuesday, September 24th, 2024; 2 tickets won the second prize

The lottery official announced that the Friday, September 20th, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, generating an $62,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Tuesday. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $$31 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Friday, September 20th, 2024 drawing were 20, 21, 40, 49, 55 and the Mega Ball was 11, Megaplier was 3.

Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 lucky tickets matched all 5 lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA,NJ will collect $1,000,000 cash each.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday night included 163 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $500. There were 523 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
