Friday's Mega Millions jackpot builds to $281,000,000; 1 player won the second prize

The grand prize in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing moved to $281,000,000 for the Friday drawing. The cash option will be $$129.8 million. No ticket sold for Tuesday's $250,000,000 drawing hit 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, October 29th, 2024 were 16, 22, 26, 36, 56 and the Mega Ball was 01, Megaplier was 4.

Even though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was a sole ticket that matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in FL won $1,000,000 cash each.

Also, 12 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Also, 349 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 774 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.

There were 100,214 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 50107 top prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
