Friday's Mega Millions jackpot increases to $150,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

Friday's Mega Millions lottery grand prize will be worth a projected $150,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$71.5 million), since no player hit all 6 winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, October 8th, 2024 were 03-19-20-22-66 with Mega Ball number 09 and Megaplier x3. The Mega Millions grand prize has been growing for 8 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.
Although the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was only one ticket that correctly matched all five numbers and won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) bought in CA, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 11 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional winners Tuesday night included 292 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 762 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number.
