The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $303,000,000

With no winner in the last draw, the Mega Millions lottery jackpot will be worth $303,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$141.8 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Tuesday. The amount carried over since nobody hit all six numbers to win the $281,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The numbers from Friday, November 1st, 2024 drawing were 11-22-42-46-51 and the Mega Ball was 04, Megaplier was 2. The Mega Millions grand prize has been growing for 15 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. A total of 16 lucky players won the third prize. These included 16 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 307 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 797 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
There were 120,968 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 60484 grand prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine prize levels, there were 1,301,706 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, November 1st, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions game uses a 5/70+1/25 matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The chances of winning Mega Millions jackpot are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
