No jackpot ticket sold last night. Enormous Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Friday night

There was no ticket sold matched all 6 winning numbers in the last multi-state Mega Millions game draw, and the projected grand prize for Friday's drawing will go to $522,000,000, lottery officials announced. The cash option will be $$241.4 million. The numbers from Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 drawing were 12, 18, 48, 57, 62 with Mega Ball number 04 and Megaplier x5.

While the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. A total of 10 lucky players won the third prize. These included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other prizes won Tuesday night included 368 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 994 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With 9 different prize tiers, there were 1,657,956 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. To play, select 5 numbers from a set of 70 then select a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
