One lucky player walked away with $515 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

A single lucky ticket in matched all 6 numbers in the Friday, May 21st, 2021 drawing and won the $515 million grand prize. The winning numbers from Friday, May 21st, 2021 drawing were 06, 09, 17, 18, 48 with Mega Ball number 08 and Megaplier X3. The winner can either take a cash option worth $346.3 million before taxes, or choose to receive 30-year annuity option with yearly payment approximately of $19.81 million before taxes. The grand prize winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Together with the grand prize won on Friday, Mega Millions produced more pleased winners walked away with large winnings. 53 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 53 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
