The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $421,000,000

The grand prize for Tuesday Mega Millions went to $421,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$195.9 million) after no player matched all five white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number Friday night. The numbers drawn Friday night, May 17th, 2024 were 08, 17, 40, 60, 70 with Mega Ball 03 and Megaplier X2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past fifteen draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.One lucky winner from NJ walked away with $0 million jackpot in Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 drawing.

Even though the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was a single lucky winner matched the first five numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in MI, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Also, 16 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other prizes won Friday night included 344 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 959 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 1,587,470 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, May 17th, 2024 drawing.
