Friday's Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $393,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Friday, when Mega Millions has $393,000,000 on the line. The cash value stands at an estimated $$181.5 million up for grab. Mega Millions' jackpot rose because nobody matched all five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number drawn Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 drawing were 13, 19, 43, 62, 64 and the Mega Ball was 06, Megaplier was 3.

Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched all five numbers and won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in FL won a quarter million dollar cash each.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 17 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 345 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $500. There were 889 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With 9 different prize levels, there were 1,497,258 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and D.C. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
