Mega Millions jackpot increases to $430 million Friday, May 14th, 2021; 2 tickets won the second prize

The jackpot for Friday Mega Millions rolled up to $430 million (cash value $291.1 million) after no player hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 drawing were 07, 08, 20, 36, 39 and the Mega Ball was 22, Megaplier was 3.
While the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in will collect a quarter million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Tuesday night included 25 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 707 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 1785 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players in prize winnings. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
