No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Huge Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

The Mega Millions jackpot is on the move again. The jackpot for the Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 drawing builds to $363,000,000 with the cash option at an estimated $$166.9 million. The winning numbers from Friday night, May 10th, 2024 were 13-22-26-32-65 with Mega Ball number 18 and Megaplier x4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 13 draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in NJ, matched all six numbers for a $0 million top prize.

Though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. 16 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 16 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 323 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 902 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.

With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 1,441,044 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, May 10th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game offered in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players through prize winnings. Approximately 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Approximately 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
