Mega Millions jackpot increases to $256,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery is on the move. Since no player correctly hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Millions number in Friday's drawing, the grand prize will rise to an estimated $256,000,000! The cash value stands at an estimated $$119.5 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, March 7th, 2025 drawing were 08, 20, 48, 58, 60 with Mega Ball 07 and Megaplier 3.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was only one 2nd prize winner from Friday night's drawing, matching the first five white ball numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in WA won $1,000,000 cash each.
Also, 9 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Also, 229 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 670 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
