Mega Millions jackpot increases to $97,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

Tuesday's Mega Millions game jackpot is going to be worth an estimated $97,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$46.4 million), because no player matched all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in Friday night's drawing. The winning numbers from Friday night, June 21st, 2024 were 03, 18, 27, 40, 44 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for six draws since Friday, June 7th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $560 million top prize.

Though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was a single ticket that correctly matched the first five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in TX, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Additional prizes won Friday night included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional winners Friday evening included 243 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 613 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With nine prize tiers, there were 883,026 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, June 21st, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record biggest jackpot in United States lottery history. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
