The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $280,000,000

The Mega Millions lottery grand prize has jumped up to an estimated $280,000,000 (cash option $$126.1 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over because no one hit all 6 numbers to take the $264,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, June 13th, 2025 drawing were 08, 10, 22, 40, 47 and the Mega Ball was 01, Megaplier was . The Mega Millions grand prize has been rolling over for 23 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. A total of 10 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 166 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 475 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 different ways to win, there were a total of 545,210 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, June 13th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Mega Millions game uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 14. The odds of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments.
