A single ticket won $56 million Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night's drawing

One single winner has taken the $56 million grand prize from the latest drawing of the multistate Mega Millions game. The single ticket to match all the winning numbers from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing was purchased in . The numbers from Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 drawing were 09, 22, 39, 41, 54 with Mega Ball 19 and Megaplier 3. The winner will have the choice of 30 annuity payments with yearly payment about $2.15 million for the entire prize amount of $56 million, or the one-time cash payment of $38.3 million before tax withholding. The jackpot winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Besides the grand prize won on Tuesday, a lot more people walked away with huge prizes. There were two lucky players that matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) sold in will collect $1,000,000 cash each.
