One single Mega Millions winning ticket worth $560,000,000 was sold in IL

A single lucky winner in IL is really a whole lot richer this morning after winning last night's Mega Millions lotto drawing valued at an estimated $560,000,000, officials with the multistate lottery said. The winner matched all 6 numbers drawn to claim the jackpot. The numbers from Tuesday night, June 4th, 2024 were 19-37-40-63-69 with Mega Ball number 17 and Megaplier x3. The holder of the winning ticket will now need to decide to either take the 30-installment annuity with yearly payment about $21.54 million before taxes, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $258.4 million before tax withholding. The grand prize winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.

Besides the jackpot awarded on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, many more people walked away with large winnings.
