With no winner in the last drawing, the Mega Millions jackpot is going to be worth a projected $100,000,000 (cash value $$44.3 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Friday. The amount carried over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $90,000,000 grand prize Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 drawing were 06, 10, 24, 35, 43 with Mega Ball 01 and Megaplier . Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 32 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. 5 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 5 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday night included 99 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 595 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 247,594 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. Around 15% is used to as commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Approximately 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from a set of 70 then pick one Mega Ball number from a set of 25. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
