No one matched all 6 numbers last night. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot increases to $117 million

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has jumped up to an estimated $117 million (cash option $83.6 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers to take the $104 million grand prize Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, July 13th, 2021 were 03, 10, 17, 26, 55 and the Mega Ball was 24, Megaplier was 2. No one won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 807 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.One lucky player from Maryland walked away with $189 million grand prize in Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 drawing.
Although the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. A total of 10 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday night included 487 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 880 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
There were 85,532 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 42766 top prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine different prize levels, there were 1,053,842 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions game uses a 5/70+1/25 system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times except jackpot. The chances of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of winning Mega Millions jackpot are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
