The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $226,000,000

With no winner in the last draw, the Mega Millions grand prize is going to be worth a projected $226,000,000 (cash option $$106.9 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Tuesday. The amount rolled over because nobody matched all 6 numbers to win the $203,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The numbers from Friday, July 12th, 2024 drawing were 15-35-48-53-68 with Mega Ball 08 and Megaplier 3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past eleven draws since Friday, June 7th, 2024.A single lucky player from IL won the $560 million top prize in Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 drawing.

Although the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. 11 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 11 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other winners Friday night included 254 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 741 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With 9 prize tiers, there were a total of 1,273,900 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, July 12th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record largest jackpot in North American lottery history. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
