No player won Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing, worth $70,000,000, bringing the estimated grand prize on Friday to $80,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$35.8 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 drawing were 04-06-38-44-62 and the Mega Ball was 24, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 30 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL won the $344 million top prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.

Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 1 lucky players won the third prize. These included 1 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

In addition, 90 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 305 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 373,204 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players in prize winnings. Roughly 15% is used to as commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. Approximately 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member states. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play, select 5 numbers from a set of 70 and choose one Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times except jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
