Mega Millions jackpot moves to $333,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

No one won Tuesday night's Mega Millions game drawing, worth $311,000,000, bringing the projected grand prize on Friday to $333,000,000. The cash option will be a projected $$160.1 million. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, January 30th, 2024 were 03-05-16-58-59 with Mega Ball 11 and Megaplier x4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for fifteen draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023. 2 lucky winners from CA(2) won the jackpot in Friday, December 8th, 2023 drawing and split $395 million.

Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was a single lucky winner correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in PA won a quarter million dollar cash each.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 16 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 331 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
