No one hit the jackpot last night. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $59,000,000

The jackpot in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game continues going up and will be up to $59,000,000 for the next drawing on Friday. The cash option stands at a projected $$26.5 million up for grab. The amount was rolled over since no one hit all six winning numbers to win the $44,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 drawing were 10-19-31-47-56 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier X5.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. 9 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. Among them, 9 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
In addition, 186 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 514 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.
There were 70,384 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 35192 jackpot winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 775,520 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 drawing.
