The jackpot in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the nation. Since no player correctly hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in Tuesday's drawing the jackpot will build to an estimated $95,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$41.6 million. The winning numbers from Friday, January 10th, 2025 drawing were 09-23-39-65-66 with Mega Ball 22 and Megaplier X3.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were a total of 10 third prize lucky winning tickets. These included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 186 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 477 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
There were 76,006 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 38003 jackpot winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine different prize levels, there were 807,514 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, January 10th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
