Friday's Mega Millions jackpot goes to $77,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

With no winner in the last draw, the Mega Millions game jackpot is going to be worth a projected $77,000,000 (cash value $$34.1 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Friday. The amount rolled over since no one hit all six winning numbers to win the $62,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 drawing were 20-24-33-39-48 with Mega Ball number 18 and Megaplier x2.

Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was a sole lucky player that matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in MI won $1,000,000 cash each.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 7 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 192 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 498 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.

There were 69,660 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 34830 top prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
