The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $438,000,000

Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot rised up to $438,000,000, since no one hit all 6 winning numbers drawn Friday night. The cash value for Tuesday stands at $$203.1 million up for grab. Friday's $416,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The numbers drawn Friday night, February 20th, 2026 were 15-40-48-58-63 with Mega Ball number 02 and Megaplier X. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 95 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 9 third prize lucky winners. These included 9 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 149 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 409 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine prize levels, there were 572,304 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, February 20th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
