The jackpot in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game continues going up and is going to be up to a projected $62,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Tuesday. The cash option will be $$27.7 million. The amount was rolled over because no one matched all six numbers to win the $42,000,000 grand prize Friday night. The numbers drawn Friday night, January 3rd, 2025 were 20-42-46-59-69 with Mega Ball 19 and Megaplier x4.

While the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. 4 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. Among them, 4 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Additional prizes won Friday night included 165 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 446 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
