Friday's Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $458,000,000; 2 tickets matched the first five numbers

The Mega Millions lottery grand prize is on the move again. The grand prize for the Friday, February 27th, 2026 drawing will be $458,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout of a projected $$212.4 million. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, February 24th, 2026 were 12-39-43-49-55 with Mega Ball number 23 and Megaplier X.

Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were 2 lucky winners correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) bought in , each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
