One lucky player walked away with $96 million Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night's drawing

A single lucky person bought a Mega Millions ticket that matched all 5 numbers and the Mega Ball to clinch a $96 million jackpot. Lottery officials said the winning ticket in Tuesday night's drawing was sold in . The numbers drawn Tuesday night, February 16th, 2021 were 01, 36, 44, 54, 66 with Mega Ball number 10 and Megaplier x3. The winner can take a cash option worth $69.4 million before taxes, or decide to receive 30-year annuity option with annual payment in the amount of $3.69 million before taxes. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
