No one hit the jackpot. Massive Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Friday night

The jackpot in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game keeps increasing and will be up to a projected $395,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Friday. The cash option stands at a projected $$188.2 million. The amount was rolled over since no one matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $377,000,000 jackpot Tuesday night. The numbers from Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 drawing were 18-35-40-64-67 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier X4. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 17 draws since Tuesday, October 10th, 2023.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $360 million top prize.

Though the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. 15 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 15 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other winners Tuesday evening included 268 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 789 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

There were 114,582 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 57291 jackpot winning tickets sold in the state of New York.

With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 1,245,470 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 drawing.

Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1.
