No jackpot winning ticket sold. Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $302,000,000 Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025

There has been another roll-over in the jackpot for the multistate Mega Millions - to $302,000,000. The cash value stands at a projected $$136 million. The grand prize grew since no player matched all six winning numbers from Friday night's $277,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Friday, August 29th, 2025 drawing were 13-31-32-44-45 with Mega Ball number 21 and Megaplier . The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 45 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Although the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 8 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other winners Friday evening included 199 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 523 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 658,036 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, August 29th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The chances of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
