The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $277,000,000

The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the country. Since no one correctly hit all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in Friday's drawing the jackpot will jump to a projected $277,000,000! The cash value will be $$124.6 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 drawing were 07-12-30-40-69 and the Mega Ball was 17, Megaplier was . The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 44 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL won the $344 million top prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.

Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were two second prize winning tickets from Tuesday night's drawing, matching the first five numbers except the Mega Ball number. The two lucky ticket(s) bought in FL,MS, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

In addition, 2 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 209 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 561 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players through prize winnings.
