Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over its grand prize to $243,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The cash value will be $$122.2 million up for grab. No player hit all six winning numbers to win the $223,000,000 jackpot Wednesday. The next Powerball drawing will be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The numbers from Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 drawing were 02, 26, 45, 46, 52 and Powerball was 21. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past sixteen draws since Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. A single lucky winner from CA walked away with 44,000,000 jackpot in Monday, August 19th, 2024 drawing.
Though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were a total of 15 3rd prize lucky winners. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 207 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 74 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
