Wednesday's Powerball jackpot climbs to $146,000,000; Two tickets matched the first five numbers

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Because no player correctly matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Monday's drawing, the grand prize will jump to a projected $146,000,000! The cash value will be $$63.3 million up for grab. The numbers from Monday, August 31st, 2026 drawing were 11, 17, 25, 37, 49 with Power Ball number 10. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for eight draws since Saturday, August 15th, 2026. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a 1,000,000,000 top prize.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with big money.
