Monday's Powerball jackpot goes to $208,000,000; 2 second prize tickets sold

Monday's Powerball lottery jackpot climbed to $208,000,000, because no ticket hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number drawn Saturday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Monday stands at an estimated $$104.6 million up for grab. Saturday's $195,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The numbers from Saturday, September 21st, 2024 drawing were 17, 19, 21, 37, 45 with Power Ball number 14. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 14 draws since Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. A single lucky winner from CA walked away with 44,000,000 grand prize in Monday, August 19th, 2024 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 2 2nd prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in NC won 1 million dollar cash. The other 1 second prize winner(s) from FL also chose Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
