Powerball jackpot leaps to $99,000,000 Saturday, September 20th, 2025; 1 second prize ticket sold

There was no ticket sold with all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number in the latest multi-state Powerball lottery draw, and the estimated grand prize for Saturday's drawing will jump to $99,000,000, lottery officials announced. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$46.3 million. The numbers from Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 drawing were 07-30-50-54-62 and Powerball number was 20.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one second prize winning ticket from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in CA, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 3 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional players not only matched 4+1, and also chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 149 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 58 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 405 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 151 additional players not only matched 3+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
