The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $1,300,000,000

The grand prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been rolled up to $1,300,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$589 million. The prize amount was rolled over since nobody hit all six numbers in Monday's $1,100,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Monday night, September 1st, 2025 were 08, 23, 25, 40, 53 and Powerball was 05.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were twelve second prize winners from Monday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five numbers but not the Powerball number. The 2 ticket(s) in MT(1) and NC(1) matched all five white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win! This is part of the Powerball lottery feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option doubling the prize to $2 million cash. 10 other lucky ticket(s) sold in CA(1), FL(1), KY(1), MA(1), MI(1), NJ(2), NY(1), PA(1) and VA(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
