Saturday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $546,000,000; 2 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize leaped to $546,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$255 million) Saturday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $512,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 drawing were 29-39-43-51-65 with Power Ball 23. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 29 draws since Monday, September 8th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by 2 tickets sold in MO and TX, matched all six numbers and split a 1,800,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 2nd prize winners from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 numbers but not the Powerball number. The two lucky ticket(s) purchased in NJ(1) and VA(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 7 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 306 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 88 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 732 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 204 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created 622,763 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
