Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $92,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

With no winner in the latest draw, the Powerball lottery jackpot will be worth an estimated $92,000,000 (cash value $$43.4 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Saturday. The amount rolled over since nobody hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $75,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 drawing were 12-17-37-58-62 with Power Ball 04.
Although the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was only one second prize winner from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA won $1,000,000 cash.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 4 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 4 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 129 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 56 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 349 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 122 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created 317,643 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play Powerball, pick 5 numbers from a set of 69 and select one Powerball number from 1 to 26.
