Nobody won the jackpot. Powerball jackpot jumps to $161,000,000 Saturday, June 1st, 2024

There were no Powerball game jackpot winners for Wednesday's $143,000,000 dollar drawing, so the jackpot will jump to a projected $161,000,000 with the cash value of an estimated $$75.2 million Saturday, June 1st, 2024. The winning numbers from Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 drawing were 17, 34, 56, 60, 61 and Powerball number was 09. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past ten draws since Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in FL, matched all six numbers for a 214,000,000 top prize.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. A total of 5 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 4 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
In addition, 178 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 49 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 425 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 154 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 391,759 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the prizes but not jackpot. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments. Winners can select one lump-sum cash payout instead.
