The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $268 million

The estimated jackpot for Saturday night's drawing was $253 million. According to Powerball, nobody matched every number and the jackpot built to a projected $268 million. The cash option will be a projected $184.2 million. The numbers from Saturday, May 29th, 2021 drawing were 11-13-22-27-46 and Powerball number was 20. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 135 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. A single lucky winner from Michigan won the $70.00 million top prize in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
Although the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were a total of 23 3rd prize lucky winners with or without Power Play. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
In addition, 522 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 152 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 1091 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 322 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine different prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing produced 770,409 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 then pick 1 Powerball number from a set of 26. Each play costs $2.
