Powerball jackpot leaps to $253 million Saturday night; One ticket won the second prize

There has been another carry over in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball - to $253 million. The cash value stands at a projected $172.7 million. The grand prize grew since no one hit all six numbers from Wednesday night's $236 million drawing. The numbers from Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 drawing were 02-08-21-34-62 with Power Ball 16. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 134 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. A single lucky winner from Michigan won the $70.00 million jackpot in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
Though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was only one ticket that correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Texas won $1 million cash.
Other major winners Wednesday evening included 18 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 404 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 100 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash!
