Saturday's Powerball jackpot rises to $123,000,000; One player won the second prize

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball drawing built to $123,000,000 for the Saturday drawing. The cash value stands at a projected $$55.9 million. No ticket sold for Wednesday's $106,000,000 drawing matched 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number. The numbers from Wednesday, May 14th, 2025 drawing were 04-10-24-29-53 with Power Ball number 04. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 8 draws since Monday, April 28th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in KY, matched all six numbers for a 168,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was only one ticket that correctly matched the first five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in MA won $1 million cash.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 4 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 223 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 85 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 627 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 241 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With 9 different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing created 344,669 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. Each play costs $2.
