Powerball jackpot goes to $36,000,000 Saturday, May 11th, 2024; 1 ticket matched the first five numbers

The jackpot for Saturday Powerball game went to $36,000,000 (cash value $$16.8 million) after nobody hit all six numbers Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday night, May 8th, 2024 were 07, 41, 43, 44, 51 and Powerball number was 05. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 14 draws since Monday, April 8th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in OR, matched all six numbers for a 1,300,000,000 top prize.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky ticket correctly matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in MI, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional major winners Wednesday evening included 11 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
